Writer's Workshop Assignment 1

Darlene,

Greetings this is your student Coze', and what I found useful out of the first session is the "No Procrastination Zone". I love this concept, and I have posted a note on my wall in my room above my chaise lounge. This is the place I normally sit and write, I do find that I procrastinate writing possibly because of the fear of success. God has already showed me how my books are going to bless the nations, however when that happens people are going to know my stuff! And there is a lot of stuff, and I am very private person. (HENCE THE FEAR).

What I hope to get out of the remaining sessions is the ability to change my scripts into books.

  1. i know what you mean because as a writer, i feel naked at my keyboard! somehow i'm free, but there are PERCEIVED risks from such freedom. the real truth is it matters more what God thinks of U and we overcome enemy by the blood of the lamb and word of our testimony. be encouraged your action will douse fear!

  2. Praise God. I know He's the only one who matters the enemy uses those tricks and tools to try to get you to stop moving forward. Thank you for the encouragement.

  3. I agree with quiet revelations. I believe our transparency will help people. Sometimes it's our denial of experiences, mistakes etc... that keeps people from opening up and seeking help. But due to our testimony, people will be encouraged and set free. My newest book: One and a Half Weeks use to be a script.

  4. I'm glad to know and see that you've taken a leap of faith by joining the class and posting your bio. As you progress daily (for we walk by faith and not by sight), those layers of fear: False Evidence Appearing Real; and all that "stuff" that you've experienced will be the "stuff" that causes others to be delivered. I know first hand what you're experiencing and it's getting more easier as I yield myself to the Lord. Be strengthen in the Lord and know that God is on your side. Amen!
